Learning materials
Tailored learning materials, designed to help you successfully meet all the learning outcomes, are provided for all modules. Materials include learning activities and sample questions to enable you to test and confirm your understanding of the subject area.
The ifs is committed to enhancing its current provision by continuing to introduce multimedia resources such as e-books, videos and podcasts. As these become further developed, the ifs intends to use such resources for teaching and learning.

The ifs’ secure website my ifslearning has been developed to support students studying for our Professional Higher Education qualifications. Through your course website you can access:
- a student induction
- electronic versions of your learning materials (if licensed to be supplied electronically)
- specimen assessment material
- your results and study progress
- an interactive student forum where you can communicate with your academic tutor (where assigned) and other students, share tips, seek advice or address a study challenge
Academic Tutors
Students are assigned ifs academic tutors who are highly experienced in their specialist subject areas. You will be able to contact your academic tutor through forums on the ifs website, by email or telephone, or by traditional mail.

The Senior Faculty represents the core of the ifs academic community, supporting academic leadership through the development of scholarly activity, close engagement with the review of ifs academic provision and direct contribution to the continuous enhancement of ifs Professional Higher Education qualifications.
