Why study for the Certificate and Diploma in Business Banking?
This specialist qualification is designed to equip staff of Lloyds TSB with a sound understanding of the principles of business banking and how those principles can be applied, both to the financial services industry as a whole and specifically within the Bank.

Entry requirements
You must be a current employee of Lloyds TSB.
Students are required to have a minimum of GCSE grade C or equivalent in English Language and Maths. You must also have a level of proficiency, as exemplified for example by GCSE standard, in ICT. If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements, please check with an HE Guidance Officer on +44 (0) 1227 828232 or email abops@ifslearning.ac.uk.

You will need to have Internet and email access throughout your course of study, and to access the online student induction and syllabus.
The Certificate must be completed before you register for the Diploma.
Qualification level
The Certificate and Diploma are assessed at first year UK undergraduate degree level.
Study time
Each ifs module requires approximately 300 hours of study (Consumer Credit Risk Management requires approximately 200 hours of study).
You should aim to complete the Certificate within 12–18 months, and the Diploma in an additional 12–18 months dependent on your current experience.
Study support
On registration for all ifs modules (except for Consumer Credit Risk Management), you will be sent a dedicated set of learning materials.
You will be given access to the ifs Interactive Learning Environment (my ifsILE) for these modules, which includes online versions of the materials, online self-assessment and discussion forums.

Assessment
The Certificate and Diploma in Business Banking are assessed and awarded by the ifs School of Finance.
The ifs modules (except for Consumer Credit Risk Management) comprise three assessment components:
The Consumer Credit Risk Management is assessed by an objective test, delivered electronically.
