Framework for Academic Research Ethics
The ifs is committed to ensuring that academic research undertaken under its aegis, whether by staff, students, or visiting fellows, students or other associates, should adhere to the highest ethical standards. To this end, the ifs School of Finance has approved this Framework for Academic Research Ethics (FRE), encompassing a set of principles and the associated processes and procedures for the approval and conduct of academic research and the steps to be taken in cases of suspected academic research misconduct.
This Framework is informed by the ESRC Framework for Research Ethics and the ABS Ethics Guide, but is specific to the ifs School of Finance.
