The role of non-executive directors and senior managers has never been under such scrutiny. The ifs is able to provide the tools necessary for directors and senior managers needing both the detailed knowledge of financial services and the skills necessary for providing real support to the firms they govern. The programmes offered cover three essential areas.

The programmes have been developed with the future in mind. As regulators in the financial services sector and beyond develop competency programmes for non-executive directors and other leadership groups, the programme will be enhanced to fulfil the requirements of the regulatory and governance regimes.
For those who need further support the ifs can provide 1-2-1 mentoring for non-executive and executive directors. These mentoring programmes are bespoke and can cover either technical aspects of financial services, or skills and decision-making for senior executives and non-executives.
