New Postgraduate qualifications for September 2012
The ifs has introduced two new qualifications* to the part-time Banking Practice and Management Postgraduate Programme, commencing September 2012. Studying the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) or Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) will enable students to gain a recognised postgraduate award in as little as nine months and take them towards achieving the MSc in Banking Practice and Management and prestigious Chartered Fellowship of the ifs.
More than ever it is vital that senior managers are equipped with and able to demonstrate a broad base of knowledge in the areas that are most critical to the running of a financial services organisation. The ifs’ Postgraduate Programme focuses on what is of most importance to the industry, looking at the core banking model how this has been extended and challenged in recent years and essential subjects such as Risk management, Regulation, Economic Environment and Financial & Bank Accounting. Students will be provided with a tool kit to support future decision-making and consider topical industry issues and their input on the sector.
The ifs part-time Postgraduate Programme is designed to fit study around work commitments. Most of the learning will be through the course website, supplemented by a number of one-day workshops, held in London, which will provide participants with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with fellow students and the ifs programme team.
We are now accepting applications for September 2012 entry.
