Access to higher education is becoming increasingly competitive and expensive. The cost of studying can deter students with potential from enhancing their skills, knowledge and employability through further study once they leave school.
For an industry that relies on graduate recruitment as a source of talent and a pool from which future leaders are drawn it is vital that all students are able to access programmes of higher and further education that prepare them specifically for a career in financial services, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
The Alumni Fund focuses on enabling the brightest and best to study ifs programmes, and from there into roles in banking and finance. The fund also strengthens our ability to serve our students and drives improvement of the ifs student experience through the funding of innovative learning techniques and teaching solutions.
A contribution to the fund is therefore both an investment in the prospects of ifs students and in the building of a strong and sustainable UK financial services industry.
