ifs KnowledgeBank, the ifs' e-library, provides you with access to a wide range of resources including e-books, journals, news articles, company and market data, and leadership support tools. Whether you need information for your own professional development, exam preparation, study support or general interest; KnowledgeBank has what you need, when you need it.

Subject Gateways
These are essential guides to key areas of interest in financial services. They provide a shortcut to the facts on important issues along with links to further information such as online reports, articles and websites. Recently added subject gateways have discussed the impact of the financial crisis on UK retailers and an overview of the current state of the housing market. New Subject Gateways appear each month in the Hot Topics section of KnowledgeBank.

Following the ‘Resources’ link will lead you to KnowledgeBank’s range of research databases and professional development tools. This is where you will find collections of journals, ebooks, videos and business information.
50 Lessons – A collection of videos which capture the experience of business leaders. Each lesson is around four minutes in length and uses personal stories to convey a specific business experience and what was learned from it.
Credo Reference - A collection of dictionaries, encyclopedias and reference books which includes the Penguin International Dictionary of Finance, the Financial Times World Desk Reference, the CIA World Factbook, UN Statistical Databases and The Ultimate Business Library.
EBSCO - access to complete articles from a wide range of business, management and economics journals; including the Economist and the Harvard Business Review.
Economist Intelligence Unit - provides a flow of analysis and forecasts on more than 200 countries and the Financial Services industry.
Harvard ManageMentor - When you need to pick up new skills in a hurry, Harvard ManageMentor offers concise interactive guidance to a range of management and professional development topics. Simple to use, Harvard ManageMentor is a practical resource you can work through or dip into when the need rises.
Management Agenda - Each month Management Agenda provides two videos from the world's most successful business leaders in which they share their most important learning experiences. There are links to further reading and articles that will help you delve deeper into monthly topics. The featured topic changes every month and has recently included change management, diversity, and risk management. You can find a link to the current Management Agenda feature from the KnowledgeBank homepage.
Mint – works to help develop your understanding of how individual companies perform within the context of a given industry. Mint allows you to create detailed company and financial reports on 2.5 million UK companies and their markets.
NetLibrary and MyiLibrary – collections of fully searchable ebooks that can be browsed, borrowed and returned online.
