The tutors, examiners and authors of the ifs School of Finance Academic Community are qualified to the highest levels.
ifs Academic staff are committed to enhancing the student experience and support research and development initiatives in their specialist fields.
The Senior Faculty comprises the core of the ifs academic community, supporting academic leadership through the development of scholarly activity, close engagement with the review of ifs academic provision and direct contribution to the continuous enhancement of ifs HE programmes. The Senior Faculty brings together a mix of experience across academic roles, subject disciplines, practitioner experience, and deliberative committee membership.
The Faculty also plays a leading role in development and delivery of the ifs HE Conferences and supports academic community development through provision of advice on academic appointments.
As part of its Academic Community Development Programme, the ifs has institutional recognition to provide Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) recognised awards. SEDA's Professional Development Framework provides recognition for Higher Education Institutions, their professional development programmes and the individuals who complete those programmes.
